Solarization and layers

Still feeling my way on this one, but I’m playing wit multiple layers of the same image, with different solarization combination, and erasing back into the piece. It is sooooo hard not to go 80’s on this…

From the sketch book

Ever watch the movie Roadie from 1980? Its a strange tale, staring Meat Loaf and a really thin girl with weird teeth. Granted its not the greatest film ever, but the highlight is seeing a young Alice Cooper walking all hunched over and nerdy without make-up. Classic. This sketch is from a much more mature Cooper, but I’m in love with his teeth!

Favorites from the ‘Face Value’ series
